Coming to me, or any professional photography studio, your experience from the moment you walk in, should be a positive one. The best images come from a family that feels comfortable and free to be who they are as individuals and as a family. My goal is to send you home happy and in a week or two, even happier.
If you wanted cell phone pictures (and I hope you do) then you can get them any time (and you should) but professional images are ones where the light is just perfect, everyone's hair looks good and everyone has clothes that harmonize beautifully in the setting. Even when the 2 year old takes off. Even when there's a dirty diaper. Or hungry child.... or... the list goes on. You're parents now. You know.
When you come to me, I've already picked out your wardrobe with you, for you, your children, your partner and it's freshly cleaned, hanging up, and ready for you all to put on when you arrive. Props and sets are already waiting for you. My studio lights are made to look like bright sunshine flooding through a window. I can get that look consistently, even at night or during rainy days.
It all means you get to focus on what's important; The love you have for each other, interacting in meaningful ways. Even when posed, we go for the lifestyle, non-posed look. Which is good because...well, let's face it- babies and toddlers aren't always on the same page as us. I have found that that's where the real magic happens though so come with a sense of humor.
I understand that the value of these images may actually go up as the years go by. That is my goal every time I raise my camera to my eye..
I'm deeply invested in the images we create together and in the many that (I hope) will hang on your walls and sit out on entry tables for generations to come.

The session fee includes a half day session (up to 4 hours) which allows for plenty of time for nursing, changing and making sure baby is happy and comfortable. as well as including the whole family
The session fee includes a 2 hour session to do any combination of lifestyle, stylized, or even include the whole family. if you like. You'll have access to my many gowns and carefully curated lifestyle attire too!
The perfect way to celebrate and remember this time. If it's your first child or your last, these are moments in time that you will reflect on. For those getting baby books, it's a perfect way to start it (and it's discounted)!

The Infant Session
Missed the newborn window? No worries at all! In fact, weeks 5-16 can bring some of the most rewarding images! I love that babies this age start to engage with family and we start to see their personalities come out! As soon as baby can sit up with a little help, you should schedule this one. We'll get you in quickly so that we can capture those special moments that your baby discovers the magic of sitting by themselves. Baby Turns One
Your baby's first birthday is a big one. Chances are they will have no real memories of this day or even the year, so I think they are important milestone sessions to do. Sometimes the baby came to me during their newborn session. Sometimes not. Sometimes we have cake, sometimes we don't. What we always have is silly moments that we love to remember. Their personality is front and center!
